MP750 / MP780 reset instructions..


These instructions should allow you to reset the ink waste counter on your Canon MP750 or MP780 but they should ONLY be used once you’ve actually replaced the waste ink pads or handled some form of waste ink collection that doesn’t cause the pads to overflow. If you ignore this, you’ll end up damaging your printer with ink overflowing into the system!!
Hint:
- To select something… Use the ‘-’ and ‘+’ buttons and then the “OK” button.
- To go back… Use the “Stop/Reset” button
- To reset… Use the “On/Off” button (only after you’ve gone back as far as possible it seems)
1. Service menu: Menu -> Scan -> Copy -> Scan (one at a time in sequence)
2. Select “TEST MODE”
3. Select “[8] ETC..”
4. Select “[4] EEPROM CLEAR”
5. Select “[1] INK COUNT”
6. Press the [OK] button.
7. Press the [Stop/Reset] button (returns you to the TEST MOD sub-menu))
8. press the [ON/OFF] button (which resets the printer)

Press MENU-SCAN-COPY-SCAN
Cycle through options to #7 PRINTER, Press OK
Cycle through options to #5 (Ink Abs Cap) Press OK
It should say “SUCTION” on the screen. Enter “0″ (Zero). Now either press OK
Turn printer off and then back on.

* Turn off the canon printer
* Hold the Resume Button (red circle in the triangle), add a printer (click “Power”) an indicator light green.
*Hold the Power Button, release the Resume Button.
* Not releasing the Power Button, double
click “Resume” and release Both Buttons.
* Click “Resume” for Four times
* Once you click “Power”, to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber). To disable the printer “Power” button to click again.

Cara resetting waste ink Canon MP 360 / 390

Resetting Waste Ink Tank Full Canon MP390 and Canon MP360, With this procedure you don’t need replace waste ink pad/tank of the printer and don’t need to open the printer.  Just Follow this step to reset waste ink tank full:
1. Printer on, press Additional Functions, Scan, Copy, Scan
Now you should be in service mode from there for waste ink tank reset
2. Select Test mode which is like the last avalabe selection
3. Select #8 Printer Test, it will do something here like cleaning or something then it will come up with some other option this is where it gets a bit confusing cause now all it says is like 8-2 or 8-3 push the + or - button until it says 8-3 then hit the select button
The menu will now say EEPROM Clear
Select Ink count which is option (0) and press set
Then press Stop/Reset Followed by the power button and then wait for it to restart.

How to reset waste tank full error in Canon Smartbase MP730 procedures:
1. Hit the “menu”: Key
2. Hit “Copy” Key
3. Hit “#” Key
4. Scroll thru the menu headings until you come to “Test Mode” - 12th heading
5. Hit the “3″ button- this will bring up Eprom Clear
6. Hit “0″ button
7. Hit the “Stop” button
